Just be aware you're gluing the sheet cardboard to the painted lathe, so you're only gluing to the paint. Hopefully it'll stay stuck long enough to get thru the season.

This looks great HTHYH! It's always wild to see how different creators approach the same prop and create a piece of art that is unique to their own style! I could smell the styrofoam burning though!! You should try to do some passes with a wire brush to create some texture on the boards real easy and quick and a quick hit with a heat gun makes a really quick and convincing wood grain! Regardless, great build and thanks for sharing :)

You should have used a black and gray wash. To stain the creases to show off all that awesome details you worked so hard on.

I saw you cut most of this out of half inch and quart inch plywood so why all the Styrofoam that's just crazy.

Your family sure has alot of chicken bones! (lol I know they are from dollar tree! ) What great ideas with the yarn...really adds to the grunge. And bones on the corset , very clever. Question: do you have a video of your wizard of oz haunt? Thinking of a spin-off of that theme for 2023. Thanks for your videos, so glad you are posting on youtube!
